Rangatahi Ora:
Youth Work Team
At Te Ora Hou Ōtautahi, our Rangatahi Ora Youth Work Team is dedicated to supporting the hauora and development of rangatahi across Ōtautahi.
Our kaupapa is guided by the belief that rangatahi flourish when their unique strengths and experiences are recognised and nurtured. By building strong, trusting relationships, our kaimahi connect with young people on their own terms, creating a safe and supportive environment where they can explore their identity, goals, and challenges.
Beyond these core programmes, Rangatahi Ora also offers camps, holiday programmes, and other activities involving collaboration with Te Ora Hou centres across Aotearoa. These opportunities provide rangatahi with new experiences, foster connection with their peers and mentors, and help build a sense of belonging within the wider Te Ora Hou whānau.
Our Youth Work Team is committed to being there for rangatahi, providing guidance and tautoko as they navigate their unique pathways. Whether it’s setting goals, overcoming obstacles, or celebrating successes, we walk alongside our young people every step of the way.
